Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Rules 34 and 35, that a Special General Meeting of the Members of The Tanglin Club will be held at the Club on Thursday, 13 December 2018 at 6pm, to consider and if thought fit, approve the following resolution, namely:

“To approve on the Comprehensive Maintenance Initiative (CMI) Projects 3 and 4 at a Budget of not exceeding $2,875,000 ($2.5M + 10% Contingency + 5% Consultancy Fee) and an understanding that Project 5, will be the final wrap up project to upgrade all exposed piping, services and building management systems and other issues discovered in the process of Projects 3 & 4.”

1. Registration for the SGM shall commence at 5pm in the Lobby on Thursday, 13 December 2018.

2. Members are requested to produce their membership cards when they register for the meeting. Only Ordinary and Life Members not on the Absent Members’ List shall be entitled to vote at a General Meeting but any Member of any other class may be present and may take part in any debate or discussion.

3. Pursuant to Rule 38(v), voting for Resolution shall be by secret ballot unless voting by a show of voting cards shall have been approved by a simple majority of the Members present and voting. Members will be given the ballot papers upon registration.
