Experience an evening filled with non-stop laughter as the Tanglin Club, in collaboration with Comedy Masala, presents the Tanglin Club Laugh Series – September Editions with host Matt Davis.

 

Matt Davis is a seasoned comedian with over 25 years of experience, performing in 60+ countries. He's a festival favorite, with appearances at major events like Just For Laughs and Edinburgh Fringe. His comedy has also been featured on Netflix and Sirius/XM radio.

Matt Davis has appeared at numerous global comedy and arts festivals including Just For Laughs in Montreal, Canada, JFL42 in Toronto, SketchFest in San Francisco, Kuala Lumpur International Comedy Festival (KLICfest), Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, Glasgow International Comedy Festival in Scotland, Fringe World in Australia, and many, many others. His comedy has appeared on Netflix & Sirius/XM radio, and he has been featured on countless national and regional radio programs across the globe.

Host: SASHA FRANK (United Kingdom)

Sasha Frank a is a British comedian residing in Singapore. She offers a comedic take on the life of a British single mother in Asia. Through her comedy, she humorously navigates the challenges of re-entering the dating scene, standing out as the elder stateswoman of the Singapore party circuit, and raising her delightful yet sloth-obsessed 11-year-old daughter. Fresh from performing at the biggest comedy festivals in Australia, Sasha has taken her comedy worldwide, headlining shows across the globe. In Singapore, Sasha is a familiar face in the local comedy scene and is the Resident MC at Comedy Masala, Singapore’s most popular weekly comedy show.

Prem John is a Singaporean actor, writer and comedian who loves nothing more than to unravel and examine the absurdities behind the everyday in this sunny tropical paradise. Prem has headlined shows across Singapore, and has also opened for Russell Kane (UK), Kavin Jay (MAL) & Azeem Banatwalla (IND). He recently did his first one-hour comedy special to a sold-out crowd at the Projector and made his debut at Happy Ever Laughter, Singapore's largest annual comedy show. A regular and familiar face on TV & film in Singapore, Prem has been in over 100 commercials and campaigns and can currently be seen every day on Channel 5 playing Haresh on Sunny Side Up.

Qam is an act that will be impossible to miss, with his jokes and his current eating habits. Fresh from his sold out solo special called ‘First Day on The Job’ and his televised performance for Comedy Central Asia to Theatre shows all over the country, Qam is a rising star. He has opened for many notable acts including American stand-up stars Alonzo Bodden and Dwayne Perkins. He has also featured in Wild Rice Singapore Theatre Festival ‘Stand up for Singapore’ on multiple occasions.

All seats for this event are pre-arranged on a shared basis.

The seating arrangement ensures that every seat in the house offers a great view of the stage and the atmosphere promises a night of laughter and entertainment.
